The Model S+ has a key slider to hold the factory key. The other models come with a key holder for your keyring.
There is no programming necessary. The factory electronics get swapped into the Threedom housing, saving you a trip to the dealer and hundreds of dollars. Here are the instructional videos.
Neither the factory nor the Threedom housings are waterproof. The same precautions should be taken with both.

We have over 50,000 different options, so everything is manufactured to order. This results in a lead time of 3 - 4 weeks from order to shipment.
Pretty simple, it just requires the removal of a single T6 torx screw to open the fob and replace the housing. Each order comes with a T6 screwdriver.
